An Unforgettable Adventure!

Come and live the ultimate trapping experience on a vast 45-square-kilometer territory of private traplines. You’ll witness the steps involved in fur harvesting and learn about the behavior of animals such as beavers, otters, minks, fishers, martens, and many more. Enjoy discovering how trappers once lived in the Canadian wilderness for hundreds of years. You’ll explore the traplines aboard a Polaris Ranger 800, specially equipped for harsh winters and rugged trails. Whether by snowmobile or side-by-side, your experience will be unforgettable. You might get the chance to see beavers, martens, minks, weasels, fishers—and perhaps even some canids like wolves, coyotes, and foxes, depending on the season. The adventure begins! We’ll head out to check and set traps for a variety of species. A lunch will be served at the lodge. In the afternoon, we’ll continue checking traps as we make our way to a beautiful remote lake for an ice fishing session to end the day. You might even have your catch cooked up for dinner! To top off the day, you’ll enjoy a warm and hearty homemade dinner. After that, all that’s left is to unwind and relax in your rustic cabin. If you wish, you can observe—or even help—your guide as they skin and prepare the day’s catch. This will be an adventure you’ll remember for the rest of your life. Not included but available: Dog sledding and the purchase of tanned fur.
